Brand Ambassador
Matzoball events is seeking a new Brand Ambassador to join our growing company. As the Brand Ambassador you will be responsible for assisting in managing events, sponsorships and partnership relationships. Some major responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Hosting a minimum of 6 events per year (Monthly Mixer and Networking Event)
Assisting our National Event Manager with visiting, booking and recommending new venues
Cultivate and maintain relationships a minimum of five (5) different groups/organizations to partner with (ie. Sharing tickets, local promotion, etc)
Create an on-going database of potential local Sponsors, Vendors, and Nonprofits on a monthly basis. Using the database to fill opportunities at events and in marketing.
Obtain items/services for raffles & giveaways and/or gift bags for event attendees
Manage existing local member accounts and assist with selling memberships at events
Time Commitment:
This is a part-time position to start and could change into a full-time position based on performance. Requires primarily weekday evening hours with some daily hours.
Other Responsibilities:
Assist with managing and negotiating event budgets and contracts
Promote events using your social media accounts and other local media channels
Help answer questions regarding events, sponsors, vendors and non-profit opportunities
FRESH IDEAS! We love ideas and encourage our staff to help grow the company in ways we may have not thought of
Qualifications:
Proven event management experience
Strong marketing outreach experience. Able to connect with other local organizations and nonprofits to bring awareness about the events, sponsorship and membership options
Great interpersonal skills both in person and by phone
Excellent organization skills and experience with project management
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and work assignments
Strong, demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
Ability to negotiate contracts and agreements
Customer service/account executive mindset and proven experience
Strong leader and motivator
Willingness to learn on the fly
Creative approach to problem solving
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in event planning, marketing, communications, public relations or related field; significant work experience can substitute for degree
Compensation:
Base Fee, plus Commission. Determined based on proven experience
